Location
Villa is located on the hill, near Benalmadena Pueblo, far away from touristic noise of Benalmadena Costa.
A car will be very useful to visit all surrounding attractions of Costa del Sol.
Villa is located a couple kilometers from the white Andalusian village of Benalmadena Pueblo with many bars, restaurants and narrow cobbled streets lined with flowers.
The Costa del Sol Region
This part of Spain is protected from the northern climate by its „Sierras” (mountains) and so enjoys a fabulous climate all year round. Travel inland a little way and you have the traditional Spain, try a day out at El Chorro and swim in the freshwater lakes. The city of Malaga is a gem with its paved streets, the famous Picasso museum, the cathedral, its many restaurants, cafés and bars.
Situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol beach resort area of Southern Spain with its great climate and long stretches of Mediterranean beach, Villa Elegante is perfectly located for enjoying a relaxing holiday immersed in Spanish culture and atmosphere.
Benalmadena
Benalmadena is one of the Costa Del Sol's top tourist destinations with many attractions for families and kids. Benalmadena has developed into a large resort of 27 square kilometers consisting of 3 areas - Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa & Arroyo del la Miel. At the heart of Benalmádena is the old white Andalusian village of Benalmadena Pueblo with its narrow streets with colorful flowers growing everywhere. The Plaza de España is at the heart of the Pueblo and has cafés, restaurants, craft and souvenir shops and the fountain of the young girl, the symbol of Benalmadena. This also is the real Spain as the locals go about their day-to-day business and some of the older village folk sit on a bench in the shade of the orange trees and just chat away with each other. For the children there is Tivoli World just a bus ride away in Arroyo de la Miel and a little further is the World famous Benalmadena Marina which has won worldwide acclaim for its architecture. The Marina has more activities and restaurants than I can list here so put it on your itinerary.
1) Benalmadena Costa. The coastal strip includes 9 km of beaches, a cove including the Nudist Beach Benal Natura with a fabulous new marina & harbor.
2) Benalmadena Pueblo. The area located inland from the western coastal strip of Benalmadena Costa. The original urban center retains a lot of its old Andalusian village structure with flowers in window boxes, pots on the ground as well as in wall brackets. Being located in the hills behind the coast there are some amazing views, especially from the church. A very peculiar castle, Castillo de Colomares, is located a short walk from the village center.
3) Arroyo de la Miel is located inland from the eastern coastal strip of Benalmadena Costa. This area is the location of businesses, the majority of the local population and some very popular attractions - the Teleferico Cable Car & Tivoli World. It is also the location of the Underground Railway station. The resort is rather hilly especially cardiac hill, Avenida de Teleferico.
Within walking distance of the villa is the Altos del Higueron shopping center which has a Carrefour, Aldi supermarket, a bank, an Italian restaurant which has superb pizzas to eat in or take away. Then there is the Taberna del Frasco bar, dry cleaning, internet café, excellent Indian restaurant, hairdressers and very stylish „Punto Rojo” restaurant and a bar. All the restaurants and bars have tables and chairs on the pavement so you can sit and sip your „mojito” whilst watching the world go by.

Paradise for golf players
Los Flamingos Golf Club – Marbella
The best golf in Los Flamingos Golf Club, a magnificent course 10 km from Marbella designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido. It boasts stunning views over the surrounding countryside and Mediterranean Sea. A sister course, Gran Flamingo, offers a choice of two 18 hole courses – green fee discounts are given on booking the two courses. Both courses share challenging water features and other obstacles such as a variety of trees and sand bunkers added to testing nature of the course. The fairways, especially on the front 9, are narrow which also test your accuracy off the tee, although some compensation is given with the large greens on the course.
Our staff is happy to advise you on the local golf courses and make reservations in advance of your arrival.

There are many golf courses in the Malaga area of Spain's Costa del Sol, but there is no doubt that Las Brisas is one of the best and it's also one of the oldest. It's a 1968 RTJ masterpiece and Robert Trent Jones was obviously freshly inspired having just completed Sotogrande. His creation at Las Brisas is almost as good. Las Brisas was one of the first courses in Europe to use bent grass and the brave decision was quickly rewarded by being chosen as the host venue of the 1973 World Cup of Golf, which saw the USA (Jack Nicklaus and Johnny Miller) as the winners were just ahead of South Africa (Gary Player and Hugh Baiocchi). More recently in 1987, England's Nick Faldo won the Spanish Open here at Las Brisas. Perfectly maintained, Las Brisas oozes quality from beginning to end. With strategically placed bunkers, plenty of water hazards and tricky raised green sites, Las Brisas is as much about position, both off the tee and with approach shots, as it is about length. The course opens up with a cracking series of holes and many on the back nine sweep left and right to through stands and trees. You cannot help but enjoy Las Brisas and if you manage your way successfully through the many risk and rewarded decisions, you might even card a good score.

Benalmadena has a number of golf courses, putting greens and driving ranges in the near vicinity. „Benalmadena Golf” is home to a driving range, putting green and a straight forward 9 hole par three. It has an excellent club house with restaurant and the addition of a bowls green.

The nearest 18 hole course is Torrequebrada Golf, which offers a challenge to all levels of players. Although amidst an urban area the pine trees that surround give it seclusion and some of the views on offer are spectacular. http://www.golftorrequebrada.com

Costa del Sol is a wonderful place for divers. There are a lot of reefs as well as many wrecks which are a great attraction. There are a lot of PADI diving centers where you can enjoy diving day-trips or start your diving adventure having PADI diving course. There are some of them:

The lowest water temperature is from January to March - about 13° Celsius. Visibility in this period is about 5 - 15 meters. So throughout the year you can dive in a wetsuit. You can rent all necessary euipment in the diving center. EAN is available in most of th centers. We can recommend diving throughout the year as the attractive activity for experienced divers as well as for beginners.
Spanish Cuisine
Benalmadena’s cuisine is wide and varied with restaurants offering cuisine typical for the area, with lots of seafood and rice on the menu, to anything and everything you could possibly wish for. There is a great number of tapas bars, restaurants and cáfes in Benalmadena. Some more traditional bars will often give you a small amount of tapas for free with a caña (small beer). Benalmadena Costa's situation by the seaside affords it the pleasure of being home to Chiringuitos (beach bars) where you can watch the fishing boats, which often have caught what you are eating.
