FAQ

What is arrival/departure time?

We expect you in our Villa at 15.00 or later and we'll be grateful for the check-out at 10.00. If your flight schedule (or trip plan by car) is different than hours given above, let us know, we'll do our best to arrange early check-in, but it will be very difficult if previous Guests leave the Villa the same day.

Is car hire recommended?

Yes. Car hire is essential.

Is there a security deposit required against damages to the property?

Yes. On arrival € 500 euro is required as a guarantee to cover damages/repairs - if any occur. Thie deposit will be returned within 7 days following your departure and once the property has been checked with no damages / repairs caused by the Guest.

What correspondence will I receive from you?

You'll receive email confirmation of each payment, details of your stay, instructions how to reach the Villa, information about returning deposit and all other necessary information.

What is included in my rental?

Included within your rental are:

- all costs of your stay (electricity, water, emtying of the septic tank and other costs of Villa);

- final cleaning after your departure;

- bed linen & towels;

- baby cot, high chair and baby-carriage.

For extra money you can order:

- linen and towel change - € 15 a set for one person;

- extra cleaning of whole Villa - € 150;

- any additional services ordered for you by the Concierge – are subject of payment due to supplier' rates.

How can I pay my booking deposit?

The deposit payment shall be done trough bank transfer to our account given by our Office during booking procedure.

Where is the Villa located?

The Villa is overlooking STUPA in Benalmadena Pueblo, 19 km (20 min. drive) from Malaga Airport, 37 km (30 min. drive) from Marbella, 800 m from the seaside at the altitude of 110 m above the sea level. Tsunami can't be a danger to our Guests ;-).

Can animals stay at the Villa?

Yes, we accept animals at Villa Ellegante once they are agreed prior to booking. We do prefer small animals (small dogs, cats etc.) and we don't accept dangerous animals (spiders of any kind, snakes, crocodiles etc.). Rodents of any kind (rats, rabbits etc.) are accepted if kept in cages. If You don't have your own pet, you can look after our own wild-living geckos :-) It's obvious that the Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their pets.

Do you provide additional service such as chef, laundry, nanny etc?

You can order any services you want through our Concierge. We will be more than happy to look after your requirements. Once your booking has been confirmed, we will inform about the additional costs for any additional services.

How secure is the property?

The Villa is situated in small urbanization where everybody knows each other. There's also an automatic electric gate which gives security against any intruders. There's also an electronic alarm instalation which gives you possibility to call security partol by pushing one button. We would recommend securing the property at all time & ensuring doors are locked.

Do you provide personal safes?

There is a safe-box installed in one of the bedrooms, you can program your own access code and be sure for security of your belongings.

Do you have someone to look after the pool & garden during our stay?

In order to maintain the property we have a gardener and the swimming pool person who will come to the property once a week. So we're very sorry for any inconvenience caused by the presence of strangers during your stay. Please advise us in advance if you wish these services not to be carried out during your stay. We do not carry out any building works during Guests' stay except urgent failure repairs, if they occur.

Is the villa air conditioned?

Yes, in each bedroom there's an a/c device with full cooling – heating function.

Does the property have broadband/Wi-Fi?

Yes, the Villa has free Wi-Fi connection. Any instructions for WiFi connection you'll find in the Villa. A printer is also available via Wi-Fi.

Is smoking allowed within the property?

Yes, it's allowed to smoke outside the house. Smoking inside is forbidden.

What voltage is used in Spain?

The voltage in Spain is 220/230 Volts with round bolts of electric sockets. To use flat bolts used in the UK, You will need adapters which are available in the Villa. You don't have to take them with you.

Who do we phone in case of emergency?

An information booklet with all emergency service numbers listed is available in the Villa.

Who will be there to meet & greet us upon arrival?

Our property manager will be at the property to meet you on arrival.

Are there many things to do in the South of Spain?

Besides beautiful beaches and restaurants the coast has a lot more to offer. There is a whole range of things to do. You can find a lot of information about many attractions in „Location” folder with web addresses given. Moreover Costa del Sol is the paradise for golf players. There are hundreds of golf clubs and golf courses around. For people who likes water activities there are a lot of diving centers, possibility of yacht rental or sailing with skipper and fishing.

Are there any shops near the Villa?

It is about 2 km to „Carrefour“ and „Aldi“ supermarkets. There are also thousands of shops of any branch in Benalmadena, Malaga, Marbella, Fuengirola and other cities of Costa del Sol, within short trip from the Villa.

Are you located near a golf course?

Costa del Sol is also known as Costa del Golf. There are 60 golf courses from Malaga to Sotogrande. All Costa del Sol golf clubs and golf courses are within short distance from the Villa. The nearest ones are „Benalmadena Golf” 9-hole course (4,3 km from the Villa along roads) and „Torrequebrada Golf”, 18-hole course (5,7 km along roads). So you can reach each of them by car within 10 – 15 minutes.

How far is the nearest beach?

The straight distance between the Villa and seashore is about 800 m. Taking into consideration roads, the distance from the Villa to the nearest beach is about 3 km. There are 8 km to famous „Puerto Marina” in Benalmadena Costa with its restaurants and an aquarium where you can also have a glass of sangria with some live music, or kick back and have a relaxing day on a sun bed.

Is the nightlife any good?

There are a lot of bars in Benalmadena, located just 5 minutes' drive away. This town is home to many talented and creative artists. If you want to spice things up a bit, there are also a host of fantastic bars around Marbella & Puerto Banus. You can get traditional Spanish nibbles and drinks at any Tapas bar, or have a party night out with family or friends. The pubs, lounges, taverns and cocktail bars offer everything you need.

Can you recommend any nice restaurants?

We have tried & tasted a lot of the local cuisine. You can find our list of recommended restaurants You can find at the Villa.

Is there a village or restaurants nearby?

A beautiful, rustic Spanish village, Benalmadena Pueblo, is about 5 minutes drive away. Here you will find restaurants, cafés, shops and more, with some being at a very reasonable price.

Is the villa suitable for children?

Yes. We welcome children of all ages/groups. For infants we provide cots plus linen & highchair & trolley at no additional cost.

Do you provide airport transfer?

Yes. We will put you in contact with Benalmadena taxi who look after the airport transfer for you and your Guests. You should inform us about it earlier.

How far is the Villa from Malaga airport?

20 km – approx. 20 min. drive.
